What you'll be doing
- Attorney will join an active legal group that assists clients in managing a diverse farm and ranch, agribusiness and timber loan portfolio. Attorney will provide a wide range of legal services in the areas of farm and ranch, agribusiness and timber mortgage loan production, servicing and special servicing. Structuring and closing farm and ranch agribusiness and timber mortgage loan transactions. Drafting and negotiating closing loan documentation. Assisting with closing due diligence. Managing outside counsel handling servicing matters including note modifications, partial releases, assignments and assumptions. Handling all other legal aspects of a sophisticated agricultural investments group.
What your background should be
- Attorney with 10+ years of agricultural investments experience with a law firm or in-house position. Strong academic record. Bar membership. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
