Requirements Engineer

What you'll be doing: The candidate is responsible for overseeing functional and non-functional requirements for multiple products within the project team. Primary duties of a successful candidate is include; managing and verifying requirements, capturing detailed descriptions of user needs and product functionality and ensuring the consistent and testable requirements documented in user stories and completion criteria by project team. Reconcile conflicts; decompose high-level information on the appropriate level of detail of team members, participate in peer reviews of requirements documentation and ensure the requirements database satisfies the programs needs. Work in a scrum agile development environment. Collaborate with development, test and management team members. Provide weekly status updates to the management team.

What your background should be: Minimum 9+ years of experience. This position requires a candidate with prior requirements management experience and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Experience in documenting, analyzing and reviewing software requirements. Candidate must have experience in writing requirements, user stories and completion criteria. Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
