What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and facilitate day to day operations associated with research projects. Manage subjects via recruitment, informed consent, protocol assessments, and data collection. Conducts interviews and trains new research staff. Perform metric analysis to ensure research workload is balanced, data is submitted timely, and pending studies are opened within 90 days. Review and trend all protocol deviations/violations to determine root cause. Provide professional career development/coaching for with direct reports. Maintain strong working relationships with radiology, pathology, laboratory, pharmacy, research finance, infusion, and other partner organizations. Assist clinical research nurses in monitoring compliance and communication with pharmacy and accounting for proper patient billing.
What your background should be
- Previous research experience preferred. Knowledge of good clinical practices (GCP) and international conference on harmonization (ICH) guidelines, basic scientific methods, biological principles, medical terminology, and regulatory requirements of the FDA and IRB preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree required. Master degree in business or health care administration preferred.
