What you'll be doing
- Coordinate the roll out of standard work under the direction of the continuous improvement analyst. Observe, document and time operator step to complete task. Work with operator to brainstorm the safest, most efficient way to complete a task. Take and edit photo and video of work step to visually support standard work document. Enter step, photo and video into the TEOA standard work template. Review document for spelling, grammar and format error. Check for and correct content inconsistencies. Prepare the required document change form to release standard work document into document control. Train the work team to the current standard work document. Make update to released standard work as needed.
What your background should be
- One to two years of manufacturing production experience. Experience with excel, photo and video recording and editing or the ability to quickly develop competence in these area. Strong interpersonal and organizational skill required. Ability to set a schedule and work to that schedule. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with technical and non technical personnel orally and in writing. Skilled in using Microsoft Office product, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or GED.
