What you'll be doing
- Participate with member of the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate resident care. Provide oncoming shift and supervisor with accurate and complete resident status report. Maintain the hourly report book. Receive and record physician order. Assure compliance with policy and procedure. Provide feedback to nurse manager regarding performance of nurse aide. Assist in data collection for admission, transfer and discharge of resident and provide the information to the nurse manager. Service on and participate in committee as assigned. Preparing, administering and documenting medication as prescribed. Responsible for completing medication interchange and insurance prior to authorization as assigned.
What your background should be
- At least one year of nursing experience preferred. Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state employed. Valid CPR certification. Excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal skill is desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skill is required. Previous experience leading teams and supervising others.
Required Schooling / Training
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
