Mortgage Underwriter

What you'll be doing: This position manage day to day operation of a team of underwriter. Ensure loan underwrite to guideline and compliant with all state/federal law and lending regulation. Work closely with client companies underwriter, branch manager and loan officer to identify potential solution/alternative for all type of loan. Participate with senior management in department and company wide initiative related to underwriting procedure and strategy. Maintain and communicate knowledge of underwriting guideline and stay current with department requirement. Measure all loan submission for underwriting decision based on company quality control plan and investor/regulatory compliance. Communicate effectively with internal staff to maintain high level of customer service.

What your background should be: Underwriting experienced preferred. FHA, DE, VA and USDA experience. Wholesale lending experience. Knowledge of federal and state mortgage banking regulations.
