What you'll be doing
- Align and engage center of competency and NPL teams. Standardize structure and processes across plant teams. Keep current and future NPL systems and processes aligned. Interface and provide prioritization of system improvements to FCA ICT. Identify and vigorously attack root causes of downtime. Use radar charts to measure aptitude and guide training creation. Increase systematic monitoring tools. Create formal standardized online training for employees. Make tools more efficient, intuitive, and error-proofed. Improve process for reaction to issues, minimizing impact to production. Share information and best-practices between plants.
What your background should be
- 8 years experience in a manufacturing environment in production control/supply chain or material handling knowledge of production control operations, procedures and systems. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Ability to implement, sustain and improve material flow processes, packaging and strategies. Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree required
