What you'll be doing

Explores, analyzes, defines, recommends, and tests new markets and channels for A&H growth opportunities. Identifies non-traditional sales opportunities and channels, with focus on TPAs and exchanges. Determines point of entry, and timeliness to ensure strategic fit. Analyzes, partners, and communicates opportunities to senior management. Coordinates testing and execution of business development strategies. Directs partners throughout the enterprise and orchestrates timing and delivery of communication and project plans to assure maximum effectiveness. Manages project plans to assured desired sale results. Transitions management responsibility to appropriate areas or implements preplanned exit strategies as necessary. Defines critical financial, sales, service, and other metrics and reporting requirements.Performs other duties as required or assigned.

What your background should be

10+ yrs relevant business experience. Advanced knowledge of group insurance industry and voluntary/worksite A&H products and growth strategies. Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and leadership skills. Excellent communication both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to influence both internal and external partners. Experience with TPAs and exchanges.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
