What you'll be doing

Follow the expo set up and closing check lists. See manager and posted lists. Maintain all equipment in good clean working condition. Follow the cleaning check lists to maintain the expo area in good repair and cleanliness. Channel guest comments or unsatisfactory reports to the dining room or general manager. Communicate shift/daily operations information, business needs, repair and equipment needs, staff problems to dining room or general manager. Deliver room service orders to rooms for guests. Report to management any restrooms or public areas that are not properly maintained and checked during each shift. Help maintain proper tabletop appearance and presentation standards. Properly complete the proper expo training process. Take all necessary tests and assure a training checklist has been completed for your training efforts.

What your background should be

Past full service restaurant experience preferred. Mental and comprehensive demands. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Requires basic computer skills. Exceptional organizational skills. Must possess basic computational ability.

Required Schooling / Training

High school or equivalent education preferred.
