What you'll be doing

Ensure the production schedule developed by the master scheduler met to support the highest levels of customer service and production efficiency. Ensure case fills and order fill metrics exceeded or met. Provide feedback and input to support schedule adherence. Responsible for ensuring labor efficiencies and goals achieved including pounds per person-hour and overtime hours. Oversee changeovers to ensure good communication between team members and departments. Monitor production schedule adherence; identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Work with business unit leader regarding ongoing team member performance and feedback. Provide continual feedback and formal performance review annually. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum 1+ years of manufacturing experience and lead/supervisory experience. Food manufacturing experience preferred. Basic knowledge of computer programs and ability to learn inventory control program. Forklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certification. Ability to manage performance of others. Ability to train employees. Ability to prioritize and follow-through to achieve results. Problem solving ability to learn from past issues and put in processes to prevent reoccurrence.
