What you'll be doing
- Perform repairs and installations on all plant production equipment. Complete preventive maintenance as assigned. Perform equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and safety. Communicate repair functions with production supervisors. Identify and communicate safety hazards and quality deficiencies to maintenance management. Operate a forklift or pallet jack as needed to perform job functions. Enter data into maintenance and inventory software systems. Know and comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures. Complete written evaluations and annual review of production associates. Leads, trains, and disciplines production associates to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Track supply inventories to ensure that proper materials are on-hand for production needs. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Three years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment working in a maintenance capacity. Three years of experience in a supervisory role of more than 10 production personnel in an industrial environment. Comfortable with computer systems and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail. Formal training in one or more of the following: general industrial maintenance, hydraulics, industrial electrical systems, PLC programming, industrial refrigeration, compressors, pneumatics.
Required Schooling / Training
- Associates degree preferred.
