What you'll be doing

Serve as an essential link between hospital management and the medical staff to promote and enhance good communications and positive working relationship with the medical staff. Maintain numerous physician information data banks that affect patient admissions and treatments, surgery scheduling, and reimbursement. Attend and support all medical staff committee meetings. Establish systems to facilitate meetings and communication between medical staff, both within and outside specialties, as well as with the hospital administration. Provide for the development, establishment, and enforcement of medical staff by laws, rules and regulations, and policies that support a self-governed medical staff and it is accountability to the hospital board of trustees.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, prioritizing and delegating tasks to others. Demonstrate sound judgment, patience and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment. Organizational skills, ability to prioritize and exercise discretion. Strong PC computer skills including MS office, strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
