What you'll be doing

Accountable for successful execution of assigned projects. Oversee assembly of the project team, identifying required resources and tasks. Facilitate the development of project scopes. Effectively coordinate the activities of the team, providing leadership and direction throughout the life of the project. Report regularly on project status to all on communication plan. Strict adherence to change management procedures and policies. Administrative responsibilities include weekly status reporting, project plan administration, issue tracking, and maintain project documents. Meet regularly with the PMO manager and sponsor to review issues, risks, actions, and milestones. Monitor resource constraints or other barriers that may impact the critical path of the project and develop appropriate contingency plans. Promptly and judiciously, recap project meetings and plans. Assist PMO director with completion of weekly reporting. Complete other tasks as assigned.

What your background should be

Two to three years project management experience required. Informational technology project experience preferred. 2+ years in the banking and data processing industry preferred. Understanding to technical interface issues, and computer technology preferred. Visio experience, MS project experience preferred. Business process management experience preferred. PMI and Six Sigma certification is a major plus.

Required Schooling / Training

Four years college degree is preferred.
