What you'll be doing

The selected individual will work closely with company regional practice leads and operations leaders to enhance a very strong and vibrant capital permitting practice in new England focused heavily on the energy transmission and generation sector. This position will balance an outward facing role with perspective clients, business development and project management/technical execution prowess s/he will work with practice leads and account managers on regional energy business development pursuits. Proposal preparation, business strategy development and technical leadership. Appearance in front of regulatory boards and agencies. Interaction with principals in the regulated utilities. The incumbent will plan, organize and co-ordinate work on multiple projects. S/he will manage project tasks or serve as lead for permitting / field-related tasks.

What your background should be

12-18+ years of environmental consulting and/or power/transmission industry experience. Must be self-motivated. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to execute projects of all sizes and build project teams collaboratively around multidisciplinary projects required. Experience with renewable markets and interest in off-shore projects desirable.

Required Schooling / Training

BS/M.S. In an environmental sciences or ecological science.
