Principal Web Developer

What you'll be doing: Develops codes, deploys, and maintains web applications and websites. Provides application development and technical support for customer websites. Collaborates with graphic artists to develop web page graphics that support interactive, marketing-focused content. Provides technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations, and enhancements of existing systems. Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written, and then designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs. Participates in the technical design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of website enhancements. Plans, schedules and conducts systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff, and may have supervisory responsibilities. Serves as a technical team or task leader. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required.

What your background should be: Eight years of experience as a web developer/IT systems administrator IAT (DoD 8570 certification level II certified) in web site certification, server testing, web site application, web site architecture (development, design, testing implementation, testing and system upgrades), and script web site application in ASP and PHP, Ethernet networks design and implementation.

Required Schooling / Training: Bachelor degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent.
