What you'll be doing

Prepare sin voice, listing item sold and service provided, amount due, and credit term. Issue credit memorandum to indicate returned or incorrectly billed merchandise. Prepare credit form for customer or finance companies. Post transaction to accounting record such as worksheet, ledger, and computer file. Reconcile and deposit service and part receipt, including charge card, on a daily basis. Receipt all monies received from vehicle sale, check for money due, and provide draft for dealer signature. Enter finalized cash receipt and update account receivable ledger by customer. Prepare cash deposit and fill out the cash control sheet daily. Reconcile statement and follows up collections as necessary.

What your background should be

Five years of experience as an accounting supervisor or human resource supervisor, automotive dealership experience preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence and memo. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situation to customer, client, and other employees of the organization. Ability to write routine report and correspondence. Ability to apply concept of basic algebra and accounting.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree or bachelor degree.
