What you'll be doing

The incumbent will be responsible for managing overall prototype build schedule and deliverable for new product introduction program. They will work with a team of engineer to help define and develop new product. The main interface will be between engineering, manufacturing, and contract manufacturer to drive execution of program plan and implementation of CM test strategy and fulfillment. Provide technical support to and expertise to Engineering, Mfg. & CM during design, test, and preliminary production run of new process. Provide technical training and expertise to CM operator during process implementation. Provide technical oversight to Mfg. & CM during prototype phase to observe, troubleshoot, and document any process issue. Track process metrics and drive process improvement.

What your background should be

Five to seven years experiences in engineering and manufacturing having direct involvement in new product development and introduction of large-scale medium to high complex hardware systems. Demonstrated ability to work with and drive crosses functional group and external partner. Demonstrate use of project management skill. Knowledge of commonly used concept, practice and procedure in a manufacturing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication and interrelationship skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
