Application Developer

What you'll be doing: The asset backed commercial paper (ABCP) technology team is seeking an application developer who will work with front and middle office users to analyze business problems, design new business processes, and develop software to automate those processes. You will perform all aspects of product development including requirements and analysis, technical design, programming, testing, technical documentation, and implementation. You will also be responsible for post-implementation maintenance and support. Be the point of contact for users. Demonstrate a solid understanding of business needs and how they can best be served by process improvements and technology and become a subject matter expert around business processes. Perform technical design of application to ensure conformity to the business requirements. Develop user-interface and server-side code. Develop testing strategies and execute testing. Improve SDLC by contributing to CI and automated deployment improvement effort. Train and support users.

What your background should be: A minimum 3 years of professional experience building multi-tier WPF applications is required. Strong analytical and communication skills. The ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical colleagues. A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business and technical environment that values positive changes. Creative thinking and the ability to visualize elegant solutions to complex problems. Ability to work with a sense of urgency, while maintaining attention to detail.
