What you'll be doing
- Support and maintain policy, procedure, and manual for determination of new supply source, supplier quality relation, standardization of measurement and acceptable criteria of material. Conduct audit of supplier quality control system, quality capability, process, and facility, which may involve exposure to a variety of environmental condition. Monitor supplier corrective action plan and drive to completion. Assist purchasing and engineering to resolve supplier review and acceptance issue. Involve vendor, internal resource, plant personnel to drive containment and closed loop closure to significant quality issue. Provide leadership on site at vendor location to drive team effort and activity.
