What you'll be doing

Responsibilities include answering incoming call, outgoing call to member and enrollee service function. The incumbent will help the member navigate through the health care system and will educate and provide assistance on eligibility, benefit, claim, choosing a primary care provider, provider referral and link to community resource. The candidate will also make outbound call to assist member with appointment and to research option available to meet the need of the member. Work with health service clinical staff and external vendor to ensure coordination and access to care. The incumbent is expected to provide exceptional service to the member and strive to resolve all member need while following all internal guideline, policy, procedure and expectation. The candidate will provide exceptional service while also achieving operating performance rating of meet or exceed call center goal and metric.

What your background should be

Three to five years of experience in a customer service and health care environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skill, organizational skill required and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Must recognize customer service as an ever-changing environment, this causes one to be flexible in scheduling and having the ability to accept change. Responsible for meeting internal metric as set forth by the state. Must be member centric and make every effort to insure the highest quality experience. Must agree to quality service observing for the purpose of training and quality control. Must be a proficient typist and able to maneuver through various computer platforms while verifying demographic information on all calls.
