What you'll be doing

Adhere to standard of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of and complies with all policy and procedure related to the performance of job duties when assigned to standby call, respond within specified timeframe. Provide patient care with consideration of professional ethics. Assist with positioning of patient; provide protection of pressure point, and keep body part in proper alignment. Routinely scrub and circulate on assigned case. Perform surgical scrub according to procedure. Gown and glove self in accordance with gowning and gloving procedure.

What your background should be

Minimum of one year or experience preferred. Certification as a surgical technician is required. American heart association or American Red Cross BLS certification. Strong interpersonal skill. Excellent verbal and written communication skill is required.

Required Schooling / Training

Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program.
