What you'll be doing
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the supervising surgeon in the management of patient and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedure under the supervision of the surgeon or cardiothoracic surgical nurse practitioner. Working closely and assisting the surgeon in providing quality, efficient, continuous, and cost effective care during patient hospitalization; leading and coordinating the daily activity of the staff physician assistant. Perform complete health histories, physical examination, and psychosocial assessment of patient within the designated practice or clinical unit. Coordinate implementation of clinical research studies or clinical trial, including patient screening, enrollment and data collection; plus all other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Experience in related field required. Excellent verbal and written communication skill are essential. Strong interpersonal skill is required. Membership in a pertinent professional organization and fluency in a second language are preferred. Organizational skill is necessary.
