Cashier Associate

What you'll be doing: Manage lane according to service standard. Inform customer of special and promotion as requested by company or store management. Properly record sale through the scanning system; operate cashiering equipment accurately and efficiently recognizing all form of tender and providing the correct change when appropriate. Stock front product; restock and use supply item efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost. Put up discarded or returned merchandise. Keep work area clean, orderly, and free from safety hazard; report faulty equipment and hazard to management. Return cart to shopping cart corral. Assist in training new cashier. Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark down, property defacement or any action that is illegal and against company policy. Perform other job related duties as assigned.

What your background should be: Meet legal and company policy age requirement to perform job function. Compliance with all company policy and procedure. Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Ability to understand and follow English instruction. Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same. Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
