What you'll be doing

Performing a number of functions on a variety of industrial electrical and electronic components according to company policy; national electric code; federal, state, and local building codes; repair manuals; factory specifications; blue prints; schematics; and his or her own knowledge of industrial electrical and electronic components. Teaching and assisting other associates and assisting in other duties as assigned. Providing overall daily production support including corrective and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installations, modifications and qualifications.

What your background should be

At least two years of work experience as an electronics technician or an electrical control technician is require. Be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, PLC logic diagrams, electronic systems schematics, and technical manuals. Knowledge of A.C. and D.C. electrical theory. Be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Required Schooling / Training

High school degree.
