What you'll be doing

Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Cleaning rooms to include making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, cleaning floors and cleaning bathrooms. Transport cart with cleaning supplies, amenities and linens to assigned guest rooms. Offer the hotel guests the best possible service in a courteous and hospitable manner, having knowledge of the surrounding area. Report any damages or repairs to the supervisor. Report all lost and found items to the supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum six (6) months experience in hospitality industry is required. Previous casino and or hospitality experience. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication skills. Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, including all food and beverage service areas. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke. Bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, kneel, twist and grip items. Must be able to work in an environment with a high noise level. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent.
