What you'll be doing
- Responsible for preparing quotations/estimates of new manufactured and regrind items using a quotation database and working with engineering and manufacturing departments. Apply knowledge of company products and services to assist sales representatives with providing quality customer service. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Communicate with co-workers and customers via email and telephone. Answer quote related questions from co-workers and customers. Processes repeat or new special quotation requests. Assign part numbers and creates descriptions. Maintain quote log by entering all quotations received from customers. Document maintenance and filing. Report summary of work tally to supervisor.
What your background should be
- Minimum one year of relevant industry experience preferred. Knowledge of computer programs such as MS Word and Excel. Experience in blue print reading preferred. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma.
