What you'll be doing

Provides service to bank clients by conducting appropriate transactions and meeting the needs of clients by referring them to appropriate departments in the bank. Provides paying and receiving transaction services to customers with accuracy, professionalism and a high level of service. Answers and routes telephone calls, takes messages, provides information and directs calls to appropriate staff as necessary. Answers basic client inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies. Cross-sells bank products and services. Refers clients to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line. Balances drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks. Bundles and scans appropriate work through the branch capture system.

What your background should be

Prior customer service experienced is required. Must have excellent customer service skills; strong communication skills. Ability to cross sell. Ability to work under pressure. Mathematical skills.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent required.
