What you'll be doing

On a regional level, manage, negotiate and close new TLAs and renew existing TLAs. Finalize complex real estate license agreement negotiations and resolve complex real estate contract disputes. Provide the recommended TLA redlined document changes and recommended alternative contract language changes to the legal group for their review and comments during the TLA negotiation process. Assist the sales, operations and engineering groups to resolve any access issues. Perform pre-negotiation due diligence on targeted sites including review of financial/capital approvals, customer revenue and sales requirements, equipment status and engineering/construction drawings for building owner. Approval form partnerships with building owners/managers and commercial real estate developers on a regional and national level to ensure that new building access/license agreements can be obtained quickly under the company standard terms and conditions. Update the real estate database as necessary with notes and contract negotiations status updates to achieve the required critical action date milestones. Work with outside/inside plant engineers and the operations group to facilitate the initial access to the targeted sites for the site surveys and equipment installations. Work with the marketing group on a regional level to create, edit and produce needed collateral material for the building. Access group research building owner contact information for targeted buildings via existing company databases and the internet. Educate national and regional building owners/managers and rooftop/tower managers on company network expansion plans.

What your background should be

7 to 10 years of experience in managing and directly negotiating telecommunications license agreements or commercial property leasing or management or commercial lease administration. 5 to 7 years of experience in negotiation a high volume of telecommunications license agreements with regional or national real estate portfolio owners preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree is required.
