What you'll be doing
- The incumbent is responsible for greeting, selling, order taking and serving guest in safe and efficient compliance with policy and procedure, brand standard and federal, state, and local regulation. Process guest check and collect payment in compliance with cash handling, credit card transaction, room charge processing, and accounting policy and procedure. Promptly report emergency, accident, injury, missing article, damage, engineering item and safety hazard to management. Report any deviation from policy, procedure, brand standard, and regulation to management. Ensure all communication containing company, hotel, brand and guest information is consistent with privacy policy, practice, and regulation.
What your background should be
- Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service. Ability to understand and comply with proper ordering and food handling technique and state and local serving guideline. Ability to timely compile fact and figure, identify and investigate issue and resolve basic matter. Ability to follow an appropriate course of action based on policy and procedure. Attention to detail with good organizational and efficient time management skill.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma.
