What you'll be doing

The candidate will manage and supervise up to 15 associates in the meat/seafood department. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these departments. S/he will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. His/her responsibilities will include interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; assist in appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The ideal individual will perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Two to three years of related experience and/or training. Knowledge of HT internet software; e-mail; Inventory software; spreadsheet software and word processing software. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color, and depth perception. This job requires also some physical standards or demands.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED.
