What you'll be doing

Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily function, includes commitment to integrity, knowledge/quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative/motivation, cooperation/relationships, problem analysis/discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral/written communication skills, leadership abilities, commitment to affirmative action, reliability/dependability, flexibility and ownership/accountability of actions taken. Prepare and analyse monthly reports, as assigned. Understand, research and applies generally accepted accounting principles. Respond to controller requests, complete assigned task with accuracy and in a timely manner. Assist with internal/external audit. Maintain updated and proper file documentation. Assist with related special projects, as required. Manage multiple projects and deadline, which may include participating in and/or managing a wide variety of special projects. Compiles a variety of special reports. Provide research to inquiries received from a variety of sources. May work closely with other departments and/or vendors in execution of daily duties. Responsible to provide superior customer service at all time. Assist in all area of finance, as needed. Relies on judgement and experience to plan and accomplish goals. Responsible for aiding in own self development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

What your background should be

2 years relevant experience. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discount, interest, commission, proportion, percentage, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concept of basic algebra and geometry. Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft office suite with expert knowledge of Excel Organized and detail oriented with ability to plan and accomplish goals.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
