What you'll be doing

Consults with business leaders and internal/external SMEs regarding training needs of the organization. Build and maintain effective business relationships with outside vendors, ensure availability of all training materials to develop and ensure cost-effective training solutions. Expert application of adult learning principles and appropriate instructional design methods for development of learning solutions / content including learning technologies such as elearning or instructor-led trainings. Design and develop instructional materials, programs and processes for all training solutions and ensuring team members are aware of training requirements. Coordinate regular reviews with business leaders to evaluate and update requirements for existing content/programs. Lead ongoing efforts to focus employees at all levels on continuing professional certification. Develop a process for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of training programs through various assessment methods i.e., testing, evaluations, etc.

What your background should be

Minimum 8 years previous experience in training & development, delivering trainings in a professional/classroom setting. Experience in collaborating with senior level business leaders in developing adult training programs and content. Experience executing instructional design in a business environment. Current and relevant knowledge of instructional design process, learning styles and instructional techniques relative to classroom training and elearning. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
