What you'll be doing

Drive and sustain lesson bookings, club fittings and merchandise sales by setting high expectations, monitoring profitability and measuring positive results. Meet or exceed sales goal objectives for lessons and club fittings. Consistently deliver quality golf instruction within all lesson formats; individual lessons, group lessons and clinics. Develop, design, recommend and implement instructional programs, customer clinics and other promotional activities as directed. Assist students and customers with purchase of golf equipment through the use of demo clubs and club fitting. Perform club fittings to highest company standards; utilizing launch monitor technology and club fitting software to maximize all club category sales (drivers, irons, putters, wedges, fairway woods and hybrids). Maintain thorough knowledge of products, services, merchandise promotions and advertising. Consistently refine and improve teaching techniques and methods.

What your background should be

Previous retail sales experience preferred. Must remain a PGA member in good standing. Maintain a positive, guest-centric attitude by listening, understanding and responding to customer needs while being committed to exceptional customer service. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all associates and customers. Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to meet a wide range of customer needs, able to build rapport quickly. Strong problem solving ability and analytical skills. Energetic and enthusiastic.

Required Schooling / Training

Four-year college degree
