What you'll be doing

Research and identify sources for client referrals. Make contact with new referral sources in-person according to the established goals. This would include intro calls, info calls, one-on-one meetings or group presentations, using video and print material to educate and inform them on available services. Follow up on all referral providers with appropriate correspondence such as thank you notes. Conduct service calls (signing up prospective clients). Successfully move referral provider contacts down the pipeline from researching the referral provider contact to gaining an agreement to refer. There are on-call responsibilities with this job.

What your background should be

Comprehension of home care industry preferred. Effective communication skills, including telecommunication devices, computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email and social networking mechanisms). The ability to network effectively. Strong planning and organizational skills. Group presentation skills. Aggressive marketing skills. Ability to work independently. Background in eldercare and/or medical-related sales preferred. Compassion for the elderly. A desire to help others.
