What you'll be doing

Prepare and maintain master production schedules to establish sequence, inventory levels, and lead times of each operation to meet shipping dates according to demand forecasts. Align with operational leadership to determine status of assigned production or projects and create schedule adjustments as needed. Create and maintain production orders for different manufacturing areas. Request and assist in verifying BOMs and new item numbers. Use MS Excel proficiency and attention to detail to create, align, and maintain many critical, inter-related reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Interact with various locations and levels within a very large organization. Assist global planning with analysis of production specifications and plant capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Proficiently create and analyze multiple possible production scenarios to assist leadership in determining the most beneficial course of action. Provide leadership, coordination, and input for projects relating to plant safety, quality-improvement, increased efficiency, and cost-reduction.

What your background should be

Extensive ERP skills in the specific area of materials management (SAP strongly preferred). This should include ongoing control and adjustment of MRP parameters and scheduling modules. Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing environment. Ability to make quick, effective decisions. Good written and oral communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proven analysis and project execution skills. High proficiency in MS Office.

Required Schooling / Training

Minimum of bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
