What you'll be doing

Develops the strategic vision and tactics for lead and manager selection, associate training and development, and succession planning in service operations. Supports the vice president of service operations and the regional service operations vice presidents in the execution of succession planning programs and talent decisions. Develops and maintains hiring standards to ensure success of candidates. Directly oversees both the drive associate development program and the talent center of excellence MIT training program. Serves as the talent consultant on grand opening and other manager selection decisions. Manages the MIT program including training progress and subsidy budget targets. Creates targeted talent management reporting and leads monthly state of talent meetings. Serves as a key member of both the OLT (operations leadership team) and OMAC (operations manager advisory council). Creates, updates and maintains personal and individual development plans for the organization. Facilitates rating calibration, talent review, and other talent related sessions during quarterly regional meetings. Supports the service operations support function in prioritized functional skills training projects and programs. Creates and maintains targeted competency based selection and simulation programs for the organization.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with MS Project, MS Access, OnTrack for training, relational databases, and web-based development software (e.g., captivate).
