What you'll be doing

Plan and execute activities and outings on a regular basis that provides consumers with community involvement such as religious, community, artistic, social and recreational activities. Ensure compliance with applicable the company regulations. Supervise and provide direction to staff; teach staff acceptable work standards and identify to staff when they are not meeting agency standards. Assist with providing basic personal care to consumers. Maintain accurate medical care and records for consumers. Maintain a clean and safe facility at all times. Create HPC forms and follow goal data sheets. Make sure all paperwork is completely correctly. Report UIR and MUI situations to program manager according to provided guidelines. Participate in and assist staff in providing appropriate active treatment for consumers. Monitor life safety training, emergency procedures, evacuation drills, and participation of consumers in the proper utilization of the facility. Coach staff and work with the program manager to provide appropriate corrective action.

What your background should be

Minimum two years experience in a supervisory or team lead role working with individuals with developmental. Formal training or education is an added plus. Must be flexible, organized and able to work with minimal direct oversight. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to lead a team of direct care workers. The ability to work non-conventional hours is required.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED.
