Business Strategy Manager

What you'll be doing: Interface with technologists, product teams and sales regions from server, storage, networking, services and converged systems teams to drive focus on pan-EG priorities. Drive all aspects of priority projects and highlight critical decisions. Develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities. Develop and drive comprehensive business plan recommendations, based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience. Ensure projects move forward with solid methodology and communicate critical actions and deliverables in a timely manner. Provide thought leadership and contribute to the knowledge base within areas of practice/expertise. Establish the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommend go-forward strategy to address performance gaps. Lead complex, time sensitive market research projects and identify compelling trends and opportunities for business leaders. Translate data and reports into easily understandable conclusions and points of view. Counsel business leaders, recommend approaches for executing high-level strategies, and develop creative solutions.

What your background should be: Typically, 8-12 years total experience. Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives. Extensive knowledge of and ability to manage statistical analysis and financial modeling. Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge within at multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies. Excellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives.

Required Schooling / Training: Bachelor degree required, MBA, ME or demonstrable equivalent preferred.
