FolderGluer Assistant

What you'll be doing: Assist the folder operator with the set up of the folding machine to fold printed materials to prescribed specifications, including types and number of folds, paper size, and thickness. Responsibilities include, neatly loading the sheets in the round pile feeder to ensure a constant stream of sheets for folding. Assist the operator when the glue unit requires cleaning or flushing. Ensure that packaging cartons and skids are prepared in advance of job run. Operation includes the ability to continuously improve job functions while maintaining strict quality standards in accordance with cGMP and SOPs. Assist with all associated set up tasks as directed by the folder operator. Responsible for maintaining the round pile feeder with a constant stream of sheets to ensure continued operation. Maintain the machine and area in accordance with the standard operation procedure. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and demonstrate team work when necessary to insure jobs are completed per established timelines. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

What your background should be: Experience working with folding equipment, along with a strong mechanical background preferred. Ability to work with confidential information. Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers.
