What you'll be doing

The successful candidate will prompt response to e-mail and telephone calls. S/he will exceptional interpersonal skills. S/he will confirm patient insurance eligibility or benefits and generate patient statements. Incumbent will provide customer service to patients inquiring about their patient statements. S/he will set up and maintain budget plans. S/he will also determines required deposits, and follows up to make sure payments were made in accordance to center's policy. The candidate will discuss medical claims with insurance companies. S/he will make appropriate adjustments to patient accounts in accordance with center's policies.

What your background should be

3-5 years experience in orthopedic billing. Strong analytic, oral, written communication skills. Enthusiastic and demonstrated leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to function in a fast paced environment. Dependability regarding completion of assignments and attendance. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Required Schooling / Training

College degree is required.
