What you'll be doing

The candidate is responsible for providing an appropriate guidance program that will produce student knowledge, skills and attitudes in the educational, career, and personal domains. The candidate orients students to their school environment and to the systems and people with whom they have contact. Assesses student knowledge, skills and attitudes to determine the areas in which the student needs assistance. Provides appropriate group and/or individual counseling as necessary for students to achieve program goals and demonstrate competencies. The performs other duties as may be assigned.

What your background should be

Completion of a school counseling program. Prior school counseling experience preferred. Experience as a classroom teacher preferred. Criminal background check and district fingerprinting required. At least 3 years of relevant experience.
