What you'll be doing

This positions main responsibilities consist of public contact with internal and external stakeholders, including face-to-face, telephone and email, maintaining records and reports for program implementation and reporting including developing and assisting with program content, fiscal, timelines, handouts, agendas and other like documents required in an office setting, and composition of letters, memorandums, and related documents that generally focus on conveying administrative and procedural information. This position will be reviewing budget and tacking of expenditures on a daily basis. Supporting a staff of 7 and a staff manager providing career and technical education services to the 155 local educational agencies. Other duties may be required as assigned.

What your background should be

One year of experience as described above; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Should have substantive knowledge of program procedures, methods and practices; substantive knowledge and ability to use correct grammar, vocabulary, spelling, proofreading and program terminology to compose correspondence, reports and other materials; substantive knowledge of program content and services to apply in the analysis of information and decision making. The ability to record, compile, summarize and analyze narrative and numerical materials. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
