What you'll be doing

The prime task in this position is to close sales opportunities: dial and smile: proactively hunt for new opportunities by outbound telephone contact and follow-up on leads/enquires provided. Follow up and qualify leads provided by marketing campaigns and/or local partners. Help drive lead generation campaigns. Plan and develop a sales strategy for your territory. Develop a sustained pipeline of accounts by actively prospecting via cold-calls, marketing lead follow-up, to independently close contracts. Quickly understand customer needs and effectively communicate benefits of res software products. Meet a quota of outbound calls and achieve personal sales targets. Manage and track leads in the lead database through salesforce.com. Manage and track multiple sales opportunities and tasks. Responsible for tracking, creating and reporting results. Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. Work closely with regional sales team and the lead generators. Other tasks will include territory plan reviews, weekly forecasting reviews, and quarterly sales review with the sales management team. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Highly motivated and extremely results-oriented person with strong self-motivation. Experience in prospecting new customers. Experience selling complex software solutions. Proven comfort using phone as the mode of communication and must feel comfortable making outbound phone calls. A successful background in inside sales and/or building relationships with all levels of an organization, experience in a b-to-b environment is an advantage. Ability to speak with senior level executives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English and native French speaker. Speak clearly and articulately, and have an upbeat, pleasant phone manner.
