What you'll be doing

Know and follow all company policies & procedures. Be on time for scheduled shift with a clean and complete company uniform. Understand, follow and complete prep list daily. Efficiently run station during shift; following company specs and always meeting company sanitation standards. Responsible for daily side work to be completed by shifts end, and checked by KM. Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served. Stock and maintain appropriate levels of food products as directed by food management team in order to assure a smooth service period. Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications. Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, and refrigeration equipment. Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes handle, store, and rotate all products properly. Closes the kitchen properly, follows the closing check list for stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen. Understand and follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures.

What your background should be

Prior restaurant experience preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, energy-filled environment for long periods of time. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). Must be able to work in an environment exposed to cold, heat, and water. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must follow safety procedures closely. Must be able to work on holidays, nights and/or weekends.
