What you'll be doing

The risk management specialist will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the overall duties of the risk management department. Input workers compensation information into time management system, process payments for risk management related invoices, prepare incident related reports for quarterly meetings, provide support to corporate claims specialist and risk management. Coordinator as directed, provide clerical assistance to the risk management department, review and file safety committee meetings monthly, maintain and update the company approved driver database, file documentation for approved drivers in appropriate files. May be required to attend and participate in safety related meetings at national headquarters and at various site operations.

What your background should be

Minimum of two years of administrative experience in an office setting, preferably in a risk management capacity. Must possess strong knowledge of standard office protocols. Must demonstrate and possess proficiency in using MS Office software within Windows environment with strong user knowledge of internet, e-mail, MS Word, Excel and Quicken with the ability to type. Must have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must possess and demonstrate the ability to interact and work well with others in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Must possess a valid driving license that meets company standards and criteria for approval as a company driver.
