What you'll be doing

Develop and implement school based G/T program. Provide support and communication to teachers, administrators and parents on the identification, assessment and programming of gifted and talented learners. Communicate with G/T parents and students about activities available and high school and post secondary planning and options. Develop and maintain differentiated education plans for G/T students if appropriate. Collect, analyze, evaluate and maintain student data. Plan, develop, advise and coordinate enrichment activities for use by the classroom teacher. Provide differentiation resources for classroom teachers. Parent communication including maintaining district web page and conducting G/T advisory meetings four times per year. Keep current in G/T research and state/national information. Insure compliance with federal, state and district requirements. Participate in regional coordinators meetings. Meet regularly with district teams to review G/T programming, resources and regular education needs. Maintain G/T budget, compile and summarize data and provide end of the year programming report. Recruit and coordinate G/T volunteers. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum of 5 years as regular education teacher or 2 years as gifted and talented teacher. Current WI teaching license (KG-8th grade) required or obtainable. Gifted and Talented license preferred.
