What you'll be doing

Lead development of fraternal product solutions and programs aligned with the 5S journey to surplus. Lead the development of marketing and communication materials (mobile, electronic, paper, etc.) for non-financial and financial product solutions and programs. Support development and execution of marketing/tax-exempt programs/initiatives that drive new membership growth. Work with independent financial advisors and support entities (e.g. BGA, IMO, etc.) design, train on, and execute non-financial and financial marketing and sales materials. Perform in team environment to drive independent advisor initiatives centered on member activation and product sales, aligned with the journey to surplus. Advantage experience to execute strategic plans that align with key company independent strategies and goals; works effectively in cross-organizational teams. Utilize critical thinking skills to build out marketing and sales campaign initiatives with an emphasis on strong tactical execution.

What your background should be

Minimum 7 years of experience or a graduate business degree plus 1 year of experience in 1 or several marketing disciplines. At least 2 years in the financial services industry, with demonstrated increases in responsibility and an entrepreneurial spirit. Experience working with financial products and/or financial advisors in the overall sales process. Experience in communicating complex product (fraternal & financial) solutions. Applicant must demonstrate capabilities in the following areas: in-depth knowledge of non-financial and financial products/program management, strong written and oral communication, experience, and desire to work with independent financial representatives, independent support entities (e.g. BGA, IMO, TPA, etc.) and members to achieve corporate driven goals. Effective knowledge of the Thrivent independent Christian 5S journey to surplus advice path.

Required Schooling / Training

A college degree.
