What you'll be doing

Maintain OSHA 1910.269 and customer safety requirements. Observe and practice all corporate safety policies and procedures. Interprets electrical construction blueprints and elementary drawings. Install substation structures and equipment such as (but not limited to) transformers, switchgear, CCVT, mobile substations, reactors, capacitors, batteries, circuit breakers, gang operated switches, and apparatus vital to the operation of a substation. Install and assist in the installation and testing of equipment related to metering, communication systems, and relaying systems which include electro-mechanical and solid-state electronic types where applicable. Install and assist in the testing and maintenance of communication equipment and relay protection systems. Operate vehicles and equipment necessary to perform the job. Recognize and control the hazards involved in working in energized control cabinets.
