What you'll be doing
- The client company is currently looking for an institutional giving officer with training and knowledge regarding countering stigma of addictions. Develop and maintain relationships with government foundations and corporate funders and will work closely with fundraising relations manager to develop a strategic plan for institutional giving. S/he will maintain an active pending grant portfolio sufficient to meet budget goals. Write grant proposals, reports, and related correspondence for foundations, corporations, and government entities. Secure corporate sponsorships and partnerships. Write renewals, letters of inquiry and grant updates. Track proposals and updates donor database.
What your background should be
- Minimum 4 years or more of grant writing experience for foundations and government grants required. Must have proven record of accomplishment of success. Strong writing and editing skills required.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree or equivalent.
