What you'll be doing

Manage and lead a team of project managers who are responsible for scoping, pricing and executing professional services projects for company end user accounts. Also, to maintain a quality staff and replace team members as the need arises. Interface with other managers on the team to secure resources for project development and delivery. Report on day to day activities of the team and ensure that projects are executed in a way that is cost sensitive, time sensitive and has the highest level of quality. All while keeping customer satisfaction in high regard. Own the processes and associated documentation for managing all projects and make recommendations to the process to make it more efficient and effective. Own the processes associated with engagement of the sales team and pricing of solutions to company customers. Provide weekly/monthly reporting to various levels of management regarding project activity and business results. Interface with other teams internally to communicate the team success and value to drive positive change within the team and around the business. Interface with customers directly or over the phone to either articulate company capabilities and value proposition or help resolve issues that may arise before, during or after project roll-out. Interface with the lexmark direct sales team to negotiate requirements and price of specific projects. Work with the enterprise software team on projects that require support from both divisions in an efficient manner that leads to satisfied customers and better internal processes.

What your background should be

At least five years of professional experience. Project management experience of either managing projects or leading a team of project managers. PMI certification is a benefit, but not a requirement. Extensive knowledge of sales or a similar system proficiency in Microsoft Excel customer facing experience is valuable. A solid technical knowledge is a must. Including, but not limited to, general computer knowledge, networking, code development and platforms, print environments, electronic content management, and legacy systems.
